What we make
Roma Llama writes a complete romance story around the characters, setting and tropes you choose — then puts your storybook together with a cover, and narrates it aloud if you want it read to you. Every story is generated for one person and belongs to them.
The catalogue of romance is enormous and none of it is about you. That is the gap this fills: not another shelf to browse, but a story where the lead has your partner's name, the setting is the place you met, and the trope is the one you actually like.
How it works
- Choose your ingredients. Characters and their archetypes, a subgenre, the tropes you want, and how much heat you're in the mood for.
- Read the first part free. No account, no card, no email — you see the writing before deciding whether it's worth paying for.
- Unlock the rest as a finished storybook, optionally with a personalized cover and narrated audio.
- Keep going. Sequels continue a story in one click, and your library shows each series as a branching tree of everything you've written.
What we believe about this
Fantasy is normal, and it deserves to be treated seriously. Romance is the best-selling fiction category in the world, read by tens of millions of adults who are routinely condescended to for it. We are not going to add to that.
Privacy is the product, not a feature of it. There is no account to create, no password to leak, and no profile to build. Your stories are never published or shown to anyone else — sharing one takes a link and a passcode you control. What we collect and why is set out plainly in our Privacy Policy, including the marketing measurement we do use, because a privacy claim is only worth something if it's specific.
Craft matters more than novelty. Anyone can put a prompt into a language model. The work is in the structure underneath — archetypes that behave consistently, tropes that resolve the way readers expect, pacing that survives the story arc. That's where our effort goes.
Adults only
Roma Llama is for readers aged 18 and over. There are firm limits on what can be created here — no sexual content involving minors, and no sexual content about real people who haven't consented. Those are set out in our Terms of Service and we enforce them.
Writing about romance
Alongside the generator we publish guides and articles on romance tropes, subgenres and archetypes — what they are, why they work, and how to use them. You can browse the blog, the trope library, or the subgenre guides.
